2014 YEAR END REPORT
2014 was 31:20’s second official year! Here is what we were able to accomplish together….
We collected over 700 bras for Free the Girls, a non-profit that provides job opportunities for women rescued from trafficking or at-risk of being trafficked.
We were able to cover the school supplies for all 20 children in the Hope Home Orphanage in Calcutta, India, including a new school bag and new school shoes! We were also able to stuff almost 50lbs of needed items into a suitcase to send to Calcutta, including new watches and socks for the 11 boys, and new socks and hair accessories for the 9 girls.
We made 150 pairs of shoes through Sole Hope to protect children in Uganda from getting jiggers in their feet.
We raised almost $3,000 for the adoption of Tommy, a boy with special needs, through Reece’s Rainbow through garage sales, movie nights, and clothing auctions.
We made 48 meals for Impact Orphans to give to foster and adoptive families in the Denver area.
We “spruced” a room through Joshua’s Station, a transitional housing program for families, by collecting furniture, bedding, and accessories, then painting and decorating the space for a new family.
We had 930 registered runners at the 5th annual Justice Run, raising over $44,000 for various non-profits and their anti-trafficking efforts.
We collected two vehicles worth of medical supplies and food to ship to Sierra Leone to help victims of Ebola, along with $500 to contribute toward the shipping of the items through L.E.A.D. Global.
We sold over $18,600 worth of fair trade and handmade products at the Shop Once, Give Twice Christmas Marketplace, benefitting impoverished women, children, and communities around the world. Most of all we spread the love of Christ throughout our city and world.
